About the role
As an Omni Business Architect, you will make an impact by leading the functional design, migration, and modernization of retirement administration platforms for U.S. retirement clients. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant Retirement Services team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, data conversion teams, and operations partners to deliver scalable solutions that support business growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Lead end-to-end business and functional architecture activities for FIS OmniPlus and related Omni platform solutions supporting U.S. retirement services clients.
- Drive Legacy RK to OmniPlus migration initiatives, including requirements analysis, business process mapping, data mapping, data conversion, validation, and production readiness.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define functional requirements, solution designs, and platform configurations across OmniPlus, OmniTrade, OmniDVW, OmniScript, and related applications.
- Design and optimize workflows, integrations, and data processes to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and customer experience.
- Support testing, implementation, and post-production activities by establishing acceptance criteria, conducting impact assessments, and providing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

What you need to have to be considered
- Extensive experience as a Business Architect, Functional Architect, Solution Architect, or Business Analyst within retirement services or financial services environments.
- Strong functional knowledge of FIS OmniPlus and supporting Omni products, including OmniTrade, OmniDVW, OmniScript, and OmniAdminWeb.
- Proven experience leading or supporting Legacy RK application to OmniPlus migration programs for U.S. retirement services clients.
- Hands-on experience with data mapping, data conversion, reconciliation, validation, and data loading into OmniPlus.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable functional solutions, workflows, configurations, and integration designs.
- Strong understanding of retirement recordkeeping platforms, participant administration, and retirement plan operations.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, development teams, testing teams, product owners, and operations groups.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
These will help you stand out
- Deep knowledge of U.S. retirement products, recordkeeping operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with large-scale retirement platform modernization or transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture, data governance, and data quality best practices.
- Experience leading user acceptance testing, release planning, and production support activities.
- TOGAF, Business Architecture, or relevant FIS/Omni platform certifications.
- Experience working within large, global, matrixed organizations.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until September 13, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 130,000 - $ 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
