Senior M365 Administrator

About the role
As a Senior M365 Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. You will support end-user computing operations, manage user lifecycle processes, perform tenant migration activities, and provide operational support across collaboration and endpoint management platforms. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team working collaboratively with infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure a secure, efficient, and reliable digital workplace experience.

In this role, you will

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Perform day-to-day EUC operational support activities, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and end-user assistance.
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, access management, and license administration.
• Execute tenant-to-tenant migration activities, including planning, validation, and post-migration support.
• Support Intune, SCCM, MDM, Group Policy (GPO), and endpoint management services.
• Administer Active Directory environments and support identity and access management processes.
• Provide operational support for virtual desktop and Citrix environments.
• Participate in project implementations, system upgrades, platform enhancements, and BAU operational activities.
• Manage incidents, service requests, root cause analysis, and escalations in accordance with service level agreements.
• Support data protection and backup solutions, including Rubrik administration and recovery activities.

What you need to have to be considered

• 5 or more years of experience supporting End User Computing environments and providing BAU operational support.
• Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
• Proficiency in Active Directory administration, Group Policy management, user provisioning, access management, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Excellent experience administering SCCM and endpoint management solutions.
• Skilled in Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management platforms.
• Knowledge of VMware and Citrix virtual desktop environments.
• Strong understanding of incident management, service request fulfillment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Working knowledge of Azure administration and cloud services.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

These will help you stand out

• Experience in Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration projects.
• Knowledge of Rubrik backup and recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Exposure to ITIL-based support environments.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and governance capabilities.
• Background supporting enterprise-scale collaboration and endpoint management platforms.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until October 5, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000 - $92,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
