The Hands & Feet Support Engineer is responsible for providing on-site IT support for corporate office infrastructure and end-user environments. The role serves as the physical extension of remote support teams, assisting with hardware deployment, workstation support, conference room technology, network connectivity, and office IT operations to ensure seamless day-to-day business activities.

In this role, you will:
- Provide deskside support for employees on hardware, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, relocate, and decommission desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, and collaboration tools before and during business meetings.
- Assist with office moves, workstation setup, and asset deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, docking stations, and IP phones.
- Coordinate with remote infrastructure, network, and application support teams for incident resolution.
- Perform physical checks and troubleshooting of IT equipment in office communication rooms and network closets.
- Support hardware replacements, warranty repairs, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain inventory records, asset tracking, and equipment storage areas.
- Execute IT-related requests, incidents, and changes in accordance with established SLAs and processes.
- Provide regular updates and maintain accurate ticket documentation in ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment provisioning and collection.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 2-5 years of experience in IT End User Computing, Desktop Support, or Field Support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
- Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and VPN.
- Experience supporting audio/video conferencing systems and meeting room technologies.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
- Strong customer service, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting corporate office environments with 100+ users.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
Annual compensation between $79,000-$92,500 is being offered for the role. Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
