About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Solutions Engineer (.NET) to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using modern .NET technologies, with a strong focus on cloud-native development in Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about building robust, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement backend services using .NET (C#) and Azure cloud services.
Develop and maintain microservices and BFF (Backend for Frontend) layers to support frontend applications.
Apply design patterns and best practices to ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Integrate with message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus) for asynchronous communication.
Work with SQL Server and Cosmos DB for data persistence and optimization.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Sumo Logic and Azure App Insights.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using PowerShell and YAML in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Occasionally support frontend integration using JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
Willingness to cross-skill in frontend Mobile technologies
Required Qualifications
Primary Skillset
Strong experience with .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core.
Proficiency in Azure services (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Storage, etc.).
Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles.
Experience building and maintaining microservices and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus).
Hands-on experience with SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
Understanding of BFF (Backend for Frontend) architecture and implementation.
Secondary Skillset
Experience with Sumo Logic and Azure Application Insights for observability.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and YAML for CI/CD pipelines.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
Working experience with ReactJS or Angular Frameworks
