Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP BRIM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP BRIM across Subscription Billing, Convergent Invoicing, Revenue Recognition (RAR), and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. This role is BRIM-first and suited for consultants who have owned BRIM solution design, configuration, testing, and integrations in SaaS or subscription-based business models.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end SAP BRIM functional design for New Business, Renewals, Upsells, Amendments, and Cancellations

Configure and support SAP BRIM modules including SOM, CI, and FI-CA

Work with SAP RAR for revenue recognition and ASC 606 compliance use cases

Translate business requirements into BRIM functional designs and configurations

Lead unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production validation

Partner with technical teams on SAP S/4HANA–BRIM and BRIM–EMS integrations

Perform defect analysis, RCA, and solutioning in BRIM landscapes

Act as BRIM functional SME for business, finance, and engineering stakeholders

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on SAP BRIM experience (mandatory)

Deep understanding of subscription-based OTC processes

8+ years of SAP Functional / Business Analyst experience

Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA integrated with SAP BRIM

Expertise in subscription lifecycle, billing plans, contract management, and collections

Good-to-Have Skills

SAP RAR experience

ASC 606 revenue compliance exposure

SaaS or subscription industry experience

Global rollout or multi-entity implementation experience

Agile delivery experience

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills across business and technical teams

Ability to independently own BRIM functional decisions

Self-driven with strong attention to detail

Ability to explain complex BRIM flows in business-friendly language

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

SAP SD or SAP BRIM certification is a plus

Vendor Notes

This is a BRIM-heavy role. Generic SAP SD profiles without hands-on BRIM implementation experience will not be considered. Please ensure resumes clearly highlight BRIM modules, project roles, and integration experience.

RAR Job Discerption

Job Description
Candidate must be able to Design, set-up and configure SAP RAR in a subscription billing environment, collaborate with cross-functional terms to understand business requirements related to revenue recognition.
Must be able to integrate SAP BRIM/SD functions to RAR
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP RAR and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Candidate must be familiar with SAP RAR functions such as: Revenue recognition based on events and time-based revenue recognition, Revenue allocation using SSP, Sales bills of materials
Calculation of Contract balances
RAR Period end steps
Work in an environment that involves revenue sharing, subscribers, third party sales, agency sales
Candidate must be familiar with Cost recognition as well
Candidate must be familiar with Revenue disclosure reports.
Other Requirements:
Good communication skills
Proven expertise as a subject matter expert in SAP RAR
Strong business acumen in revenue recognition
