Duties and Accountabilities

The Senior Angular Developer will:

  • Work independently on the design and implementation of complex features in Angular-based applications.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, and production support.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, fostering engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive adoption of modern frontend development practices, including component-based architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
  • Identify and resolve complex performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability challenges.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps, architectural decisions, and technology evaluations.
  • Support production environments and participate in root cause analysis for critical incidents.

Selection Criteria

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant professional software development experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading development teams and technical initiatives.

Technical Competencies

  • Expert knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Experience implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanism

Non-Functional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of application performance optimization and frontend scalability.
  • Experience implementing secure-by-design solutions and application security best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of maintainability, observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting approaches.
  • Understanding of cloud-native application principles and distributed systems.
  • Experience designing solutions that meet availability, reliability, and operational support requirements.

Leadership Competencies

  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience driving engineering quality through code reviews and development standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering solutions in large international organizations.
  • Experience working within SAFe teams.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms, APIs, and cloud-based architecture.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
