Duties and Accountabilities
The Senior Angular Developer will:
- Work independently on the design and implementation of complex features in Angular-based applications.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
- Own end-to-end delivery of features, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, and production support.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, fostering engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Drive adoption of modern frontend development practices, including component-based architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
- Identify and resolve complex performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability challenges.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architectural decisions, and technology evaluations.
- Support production environments and participate in root cause analysis for critical incidents.
Selection Criteria
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant professional software development experience
- Demonstrated experience leading development teams and technical initiatives.
Technical Competencies
- Expert knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
- Experience implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanism
Non-Functional Expertise
- Deep understanding of application performance optimization and frontend scalability.
- Experience implementing secure-by-design solutions and application security best practices.
- Strong knowledge of maintainability, observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting approaches.
- Understanding of cloud-native application principles and distributed systems.
- Experience designing solutions that meet availability, reliability, and operational support requirements.
Leadership Competencies
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience driving engineering quality through code reviews and development standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering solutions in large international organizations.
- Experience working within SAFe teams.
- Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms, APIs, and cloud-based architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
