Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in delivering high-quality software through strong automation practices. The candidate must have expertise in web and mobile (Android & iOS) automation, with hands-on experience in Playwright and Selenium. This role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, ensuring end-to-end quality, and working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Mandatory Skills:
•8+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA
•Strong hands-on experience with:
1.Playwright (mandatory)
2.Selenium WebDriver
•Experience in Web Automation Testing
•Experience in Mobile Automation (Android & iOS) using Appium/XCUITest/Espresso
•Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
•Strong knowledge of test framework design and automation best practices
•Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
•Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
•Experience with Git and test management tools like JIRA/TestRail
•Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
Duties and Responsibilities:
Automation & Testing:
•Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
•Build and execute automated and manual test cases ensuring high test coverage
•Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
•Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
Process & Quality:
•Define and implement test strategies, plans, and quality metrics
•Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
•Identify areas for automation and process improvement
•Perform defect tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis
Collaboration & Leadership:
•Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
•Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
•Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices
Continuous Improvement:
•Stay updated with latest tools and trends in QA automation
•Drive innovation in testing processes and tools adoption
Salary Range: >$100,000
