About the Role

Join Cognizant’s European Payroll team and take ownership of Germany payroll operations within a global, fast-growing organisation.

You will ensure compliant, accurate payroll delivery while partnering with internal stakeholders and external providers.


Ihre Aufgaben / Key Responsibilities

  • Verantwortung für die monatliche Gehaltsabrechnung in Deutschland
  • Zusammenarbeit mit externen Payroll-Dienstleistern (z. B. ADP, SAP)
  • Prüfung und Abstimmung von Payroll-Daten (Brutto-Netto, Steuern, Sozialversicherung)
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung deutscher Gesetze und Vorschriften
  • Ansprechpartner für Mitarbeitende zu Payroll-Themen (z. B. Abrechnungen, Steuern)
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit HR, Finance und internen Stakeholdern
  • Unterstützung bei Audits, Reporting und Prozessoptimierung
  • Kontinuierliche Verbesserung von Payroll-Prozessen im internationalen Kontext

Ihr Profil / Your Profile

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Gehaltsabrechnung (Payroll) – idealerweise Deutschland
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im deutschen Steuer- und Sozialversicherungsrecht
  • Erfahrung mit Payroll-Systemen (z. B. SAP, ADP, PeopleSoft)
  • Sicherer Umgang mit Excel
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (C1+) und gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Strukturierte, zuverlässige und detailorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Teamplayer mit hoher Serviceorientierung
