Notice Period: Immediate to 45 days

Salesforce Loyalty Sr Developer:

  • A Senior Developer for Salesforce Loyalty Cloud (Loyalty Management) is the hands-on builder who implements the loyalty solution to the standards set by the architect/tech lead.
  • Delivers complex configuration, custom development, and integrations across the loyalty program.
  • Acts as a go-to technical contributor and informal mentor to junior developers.

Core development responsibilities

  • Build and customize solutions using Apex, LWC, triggers, asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future), and Flows.
  • Write efficient, bulkified, governor-limit-safe code suited to high-volume loyalty transactions.
  • Implement and maintain unit tests, meeting code coverage and quality standards.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across configuration, code, and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews — both receiving feedback and reviewing peers' work.
  • Follow the team's coding standards, branching strategy, and CI/CD deployment process.

Loyalty Cloud–specific responsibilities

  • Configure loyalty programs: currencies (points), tiers and tier groups, member enrollment, benefits, vouchers, and partner setup.
  • Build and maintain program processes and decision tables for accrual (earning) and redemption logic.
  • Develop against the standard Loyalty data model (LoyaltyProgram, LoyaltyProgramMember, LoyaltyMemberCurrency, TransactionJournal, LoyaltyTier/TierGroup, vouchers, benefits) and extend it with custom objects/fields as designed.
  • Implement integrations using Loyalty Connect REST APIs, Platform Events, and external callouts (e.g., POS/commerce, MuleSoft).
  • Build batch/async processes for accruals, point expiration, and tier recalculation, ensuring ledger accuracy.
  • Surface loyalty data to Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud per the integration design.

Collaboration responsibilities

  • Translate functional designs and user stories into working technical solutions, raising gaps or risks early.
  • Contribute to technical estimation and sprint planning.
  • Mentor and support junior developers and admins on loyalty patterns and platform best practices.
  • Document components, configurations, and integration logic.

Typical required skills and qualifications

  • Knowledge on Salesforce development: Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and asynchronous patterns.
  • Practical Loyalty Management configuration experience and familiarity with the Loyalty data model and Connect REST APIs.
  • Integration experience with REST, Platform Events, and ideally MuleSoft.
  • Common certifications: Loyalty Management Accredited Professional credential.
  • Typically 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
