Job Summary

This hybrid role for an Architect focuses on designing and optimizing Optimizely and Net Framework based solutions for life and annuities insurance platforms ensuring robust performance security and scalability across digital channels. The role collaborates with cross functional teams to deliver compliant resilient and customer centric systems that support long term business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Design robust application and integration architectures using Optimizely and Net Framework that align with life and annuities insurance business strategies and technology standards
  • Architect scalable digital experiences on Optimizely that streamline policy quoting issuance and servicing journeys for life and annuities customers
  • Define and document end to end solution blueprints including component interactions data flows and integration patterns across core insurance platforms
  • Provide technical guidance to developers and testers on Optimizely implementation patterns Net Framework coding standards and performance optimization techniques
  • Evaluate existing life and annuities applications to identify modernization opportunities technical debt and reusable components that can accelerate digital delivery
  • Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate complex policy and annuity rules into clear maintainable and testable technical designs
  • Ensure that all architectures comply with enterprise security data privacy and regulatory expectations specific to insurance products and customer data protection
  • Optimize application performance by designing caching strategies efficient data access patterns and resilient integration approaches for high volume transactions
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and cloud teams to design deployment topologies capacity plans and monitoring approaches that support day shift operations in hybrid work settings
  • Review and approve key design deliverables including solution designs interface contracts and configuration models for Optimizely and Net Framework based services
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying reusable templates reference architectures and best practices for digital insurance solutions and sharing them across teams
  • Engage with quality and operations teams to design logging observability and incident response patterns that minimize downtime and improve customer experience
  • Align technical decisions with the company mission by designing solutions that make life and annuities products more accessible transparent and reliable for society


Qualifications

  • Combine a minimum of nine years experience and up to thirteen years experience in designing and delivering enterprise solutions using Net Framework in complex environments
  • Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in Optimizely for building and optimizing digital customer journeys including content management and personalization for insurance use cases
  • Apply deep understanding of life and annuities insurance products policy lifecycles underwriting flows and claims related processes within solution designs
  • Show proficiency in designing integration solutions using web services application programming interfaces and messaging patterns that connect Optimizely with insurance core systems
  • Use experience with performance tuning and security hardening in Net Framework applications to ensure resilient and compliant solutions for regulated insurance data
  • Exhibit ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and collaborate across distributed teams using modern agile and DevOps practices without requiring travel
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills to convey architectural decisions trade offs and design rationales to both technical and non technical partners
