Dynatrace Observability Engineer Analyst to support both platform engineering and day to day operational use of Dynatrace
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Dynatrace (SaaS Managed): alerting anomaly detection dashboards DQL management zones and tagging
Act as Dynatrace SME field questions troubleshoot issues tune alerts and fix data gaps
Build and maintain dashboards and DQL queries for app platform and operational visibility
Windows & Linux Azure VMs
Kubernetes AKS
Function Apps (Windows) OneAgent Extension based
VM traffic routing
Synthetic private locations
Extension execution (ActiveGate based extensions)
Configure and support OneAgent & ActiveGate extensions
Implement and support OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for Azure Function Apps (Linux) and other custom workloads
Required Experience
Strong hands on Dynatrace experience (UI + backend)
ActiveGate deployment and troubleshooting experience (VMs synthetics extensions)
Solid DQL skills
Azure KubernetesAKS Windows & Linux environments
OpenTelemetry implementation experience
Certifications Required
Dynatrace Associate (required)
Dynatrace Professional (preferred)
Azure and or Kubernetes certs a plus
