Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices at client locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests within defined SLAs to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
- Support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Coordinate with remote support teams and cross-functional departments to resolve complex technical issues.
- Execute remote desktop support strategies when required, ensuring seamless hybrid support coverage.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, issue resolutions, and asset updates.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols during field operations.
- Assist in deployment projects, including hardware rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
- Provide basic user training and guidance on IT systems and tools to enhance productivity.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware replacements and escalations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT support processes and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of desktop support, networking fundamentals, and operating systems (Windows/Mac)
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management)
- Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Familiarity with remote support tools and hybrid work environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
Valid driver’s license (if travel is required)
