Job Summary
This role focuses on safeguarding digital payment ecosystems by monitoring transactions identifying anomalies and supporting timely fraud prevention actions with SQL as a technical skill for data analysis within a secure maps and payments environment. The specialist applies analytical techniques to detect suspicious patterns collaborates with cross functional teams to refine rules and ensures accurate reporting that supports business trust and customer protection.
Location HYD with WFO as a mandatory requirement
Roles and Responsibilities
· Experience in fraud analytics
· Proven track record or writing reports consumed at executive level (structured writing and report building) using SQL
· Conduct independent research based on direction provided by PM and the project team to identify modus operandi, bad actor archetypes and abuse vectors/TTPs
· Provide key insights reports on abuse trends based on
· Independent assessment of abuse trends
· Specific research methodology prescribed as a part of project plan
· Hands-on experience with SQL
· Regularly report on progress in OSINT investigations and provide feedback candidly
· Identify novel abuse trends through research and analysis
· Experience in investigating abuse / financial crimes
· Experience in OSINT / Abuse Investigative tools
Requirements
· Minimum qualification of graduation from a government recognized university
· Minimum tenure of 12 to 24 months working as an abuse / fraud/crime investigator or investigative analyst
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Critical thinking ability to conduct independent investigative work
· Ability to solve problems using a data driven approach
· Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations
· Proven ability to work with sensitive information and to follow procedures when operating in a sensitive space
