Job Summary:

Within the Digital Domain, the Procurement Business Partner’s role is to maximize value of Digital businesses and activities thanks to a robust collaboration with Digital Senior Leadership Team. This scope of this position is global and concerns DIGITAL R&D.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The position requires robust sourcing professional skills with a strong ability to develop relationships within and across the different lines of business and throughout the Procurement organization, including Leadership /Management, transversal & project management skills in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Technical knowledge of the sub-categories/domain, Mastering Negotiation technics
  • Strong experience in Procurement or related field (buyer, sales, partnership, outsourcing, project manager etc.

  • Good understanding of business, operations, and legal aspects including service level agreements, KPIs’
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, flexible, receptive and resourceful

Essential Skills:

Strategy & Governance

  • Build competitive and innovative sourcing initiative pipeline, based on spend and existing landscape analysis, market intelligence, business needs, risks, and opportunities, fully aligned on budget & LRPs, delivering value to Digital and to the business.
  • Participate in the definition and implementation of category strategies in accordance with the category managers’ recommendations.

Operations Management

  • Lead and manage a team of Global Lead Buyers.
  • Be accountable for Digital & Business demands regarding sourcing activities.
  • Anticipate and consolidate all business needs at the global level, to optimize negotiations at Global level.
  • Oversees the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiations with a focus on BOI improvement and in alignment with category strategies defined by the category management.
  • Develop and share the expertise of suppliers’ markets within and outside the Domain and with stakeholders (new suppliers, technologies, substitution products, etc.).
  • Define priorities and goals for his/her scope.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of the savings pipeline in line with targets.
  • Advise and coach Global Lead Buyers and Global Buyers in their sourcing strategies, negotiation strategies & tactics, market knowledge.
  • Communicate proactively on on-going sourcing activities within and outside the Domain.
  • Engage proactively with other Procurement Domains
  • Deliver robust Supplier Management with strategic & business reviews and performance management.
  • Ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intelligence, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality…),
  • Work closely with procurement services to leverage as much as possible the middle and back-offices services.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engages upfront senior stakeholders of Digital and selected business stakeholders in other GBUs.
  • Develops strong partnerships with his/her key stakeholders and foster two-way supportive relationships with them.
  • Creates and strengthen relationships with other Procurement Domains, Digital Finance, Legal department, Digital Business Development
  • Presents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input.

Languages

Fluent in English is a must
