Job Role: Field Service Technician – Mobile device and Deskside Support

Location: Fort Mill, South Carolina

We are seeking a Field Services Engineer with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in deskside support and enterprise mobility services. The ideal candidate will provide onsite and remote support for Windows endpoints and mobile devices, including iPhones, Android smartphones, iPads, and other Intune-managed devices. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, expertise in Microsoft Intune and mobile device management (MDM), and the ability to deliver exceptional end-user support across office and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on deskside and mobility support for Windows laptops/desktops, iPhones, Android devices, iPads, and other corporate-managed endpoints, including break/fix, device setup, deployment, and replacement activities.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Intune for mobile device enrollment, application deployment, compliance enforcement, security policies, and device lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile devices, email synchronization, Microsoft 365 applications, VPN connectivity, authentication, mobile applications, and device compliance policies.
  • Monitor and manage incident and service request queues through ITSM tools, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLA commitments.
  • Perform device provisioning, user onboarding/offboarding, data migration, and asset management activities for both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and user support documentation related to desktop and mobile support processes.
  • Utilize endpoint management and monitoring tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Nexthink, and IT asset management platforms to improve support efficiency and endpoint visibility.
  • Apply strong Windows troubleshooting, mobile OS diagnostics (iOS/iPadOS/Android), and basic network troubleshooting skills to quickly restore user productivity and minimize downtime.
