About the role
In this role, you will:
- Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to map current‑state processes, identify pain points, and define future‑state requirements across modules such as ITSM, HRSD, or CSM.
- Document clear, structured business requirements, use cases, and process flows, enabling strong alignment between business and delivery teams.
- Perform gap analysis between client needs and ServiceNow out‑of‑the‑box capabilities, advising on optimization, configuration, and process improvements.
- Design functional elements of the ServiceNow solution, including workflows, forms, notifications, and user experience elements that align with business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on ServiceNow best practices, ITIL‑aligned process design, and platform optimization.

What you need to have to be considered
- Completed education as a software engineer, electronic engineer, technologist, technician, or similar field.
- Minimum 5+ years as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or Process Consultant, including 2+ years focused on ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging business and C‑suite audiences.
- Implementation experience in at least one major ServiceNow suite (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM).
- Experience working with data models (CMDB, CSDM), import sets, and transform maps.
- Fluency in Dutch – must‑have.
These will help you stand out
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS‑ITSM, CIS‑HRSD) and/or CAD certification.
- Domain expertise in one or more areas beyond ITSM (HR, CSM, GRC/IRM, Finance).
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and writing User Stories.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems (SAP, Azure, Active Directory, Teams, CoPilot, Snowflake, PowerBI).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business‑friendly language.
- Additional European languages are an advantage.
