Produce high-quality requirements artefacts including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories
Support digital and transformation initiatives focused on customer experience, operational efficiency, and data-driven insights
Contribute to insurance consulting offerings, best practices, and thought leadership across the practice
Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
What you must have to be considered:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry (P&C, Life, or related domains)
Experience with insurance platforms including Guidewire, Duck Creek, OIPA, or similar core systems
Strong capability in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements
Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Confidence operating in client-facing environments with business and technology stakeholders
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
These will help you succeed:
Experience supporting insurance digital initiatives such as customer experience transformation, analytics, automation, or platform modernisation
Understanding of technology trends such as cloud, data & analytics, automation, and AI within insurance
Consulting mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or insurance; industry certifications are an advantage
We’re excited to meet people who share our passion for consulting and making an impact. Don’t hesitate to apply—even if you don’t meet every requirement. Your transferable skills, experiences, and perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
