IT Support Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Field Support Representative Level 1 to provide onsite technical support for corporate, manufacturing, and lab environments in Holýšov. The role includes IMAC services, break-fix support, asset management, and assistance with shop-floor and specialized IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Core IT Support
Deliver Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) services for hardware and software.
Provide break-fix troubleshooting and end-user support.
Stage, build, and image systems using standard client images (eCore).
Support handhelds, laptops, scanners, tablets, and shop-floor devices.
Assist with data collection or preservation for migrations and eDiscovery.
Infrastructure & Smart Hands Support
Provide Smart Hands and Feet support for internal teams and vendors.
Perform rack-and-stack tasks for commissioning/decommissioning IT devices.
Support cable patching coordination and basic connectivity checks.
Provide physical access to IDF/MDF/MMR/Data Center rooms.
Support planned power shutdowns for servers and network equipment.
Manufacturing & Lab Support
Support IT equipment used in manufacturing or lab environments.
Ensure availability of basic services including LAN, Wi-Fi, printers, voice, and video conferencing.
Work according to clean-room and shop-floor standards.
Asset & Peripheral Management
Manage the full IT asset lifecycle: storage, labelling, imaging, allocation, recovery, disposal.
Monitor printer usage and coordinate with vendors for service continuity.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of desk-side or field support experience.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Good knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of networking, telecom, compute, and mobile devices.
Experience supporting manufacturing, lab, or distribution environments (preferred).
Familiarity with scanners, printers, and specialized equipment.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
