Experience with OpenTelemetry standards and instrumentation.
Familiarity with SRE practices (SLIs SLOs error budgets).
Experience with automation/scripting (Python Bash Terraform).
Exposure to cost optimization strategies for SaaS observability platforms.
- Build automation scripts and workflows that orchestrate infrastructure provisioning configuration deployment and decommissioning across multiple environments.
- Configure and optimize Dynatrace SaaS including Ruxit capabilities to provide end to end application and infrastructure monitoring tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Set up detailed performance dashboards alerts and reports in Dynatrace to proactively identify service degradation and support data driven decision making.
- Integrate monitoring and incident workflows with Service Now to streamline incident problem and change records with accurate technical context.
- Collaborate with product owners architects and operations teams to translate requirements into practical cloud and automation solutions that improve reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents using AI Ops and observability data and implement permanent fixes that reduce operational risk.
- Establish and refine cloud governance practices including tagging standards access controls cost optimization and compliance monitoring for Azure resources.
- Drive continuous improvement of deployment pipelines by embedding automation quality checks and monitoring hooks to enable safer and faster releases.
- Document cloud architectures operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides to ensure knowledge sharing and consistent incident response across teams.
- Mentor peers on cloud engineering automation monitoring and incident response practices to uplift overall team capability and resilience.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive hands on experience in Azure cloud services including compute storage networking identity and platform native automation capabilities.
- Demonstrate strong Unix administration expertise covering system performance tuning shell scripting security hardening and troubleshooting.
- Apply AI Ops concepts using observability data to detect anomalies correlate events and recommend automated remediation actions in production environments.
- Show deep proficiency in Dynatrace SaaS including Ruxit modules with skills in creating dashboards alert rules management zones and custom metrics.
- Exhibit practical experience in building and maintaining automation using scripting languages infrastructure as code tools and workflow orchestrators.
- Utilize Service Now for incident problem and change processes with the ability to design and improve automation between monitoring tools and ticketing.
- Communicate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders providing clear updates on incidents changes and technical improvements.
- Adopt modern engineering practices including version control code review documentation testing and continuous integration for infrastructure and automation.
- Display familiarity with cloud security principles compliance standards and best practices relevant to operating workloads in enterprise Azure environments.
- Adapt quickly to evolving cloud technologies tools and processes while maintaining focus on reliability user experience and business value.
