UI Architect (AI Experience Designer)
About the role
As a UI Architect, you will make an impact by designing enterprise-grade AI user experiences and creating compelling visual storytelling that showcases Cognizant’s AI capabilities. You will be a valued member of the AI Market Unit and work collaboratively with FDE engineers, architects, and client stakeholders to deliver AI-native interfaces, content, and solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Design agentic and conversational AI interfaces that enhance usability, trust, and governance for enterprise applications
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes, design systems, and reusable components for seamless engineering handoff
- Create AI-powered demo videos, visual assets, and storytelling content for client engagements and industry events
- Translate complex AI and multi-agent architectures into intuitive dashboards, visuals, and business-friendly narratives
- Lead UX research, stakeholder engagement, and ensure design quality standards across projects
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.

What you need to have to be considered
- Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing enterprise product interfaces and AI-driven creative work
- Strong visual design fundamentals including typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and motion design
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered design, video, or image generation tools (minimum 3–4 tools) demonstrated through real outputs
- Experience working on enterprise applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business stakeholders)
- Ability to translate complex technical systems into intuitive user experiences and clear visual narratives
- Experience contributing to or building design systems, component libraries, and scalable UI frameworks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively to client stakeholders
These will help you stand out
- Experience designing conversational or agentic AI interfaces (chatbots, copilots, automation workflows)
- Ability to create end-to-end AI-generated solution demo videos including scripting, visuals, and editing
- Experience working in domains such as BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, or supply chain
- Proven track record of building design systems adopted by engineering teams
- Strong storytelling ability through executive presentations, marketing assets, and visual communication
