Software Engineer

Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a senior software engineer with eight to nine years of experience building secure and scalable applications using C sharp Azure and the dot net framework Azure Github WPF and WCF . The role focuses on designing developing and optimizing cloud enabled enterprise solutions that align with business goals while maintaining high standards of quality reliability and maintainability across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust application components using C sharp and the dot net framework to deliver reliable and maintainable enterprise solutions that support core business capabilities.
• Develop secure and scalable REST based services and APIs that integrate seamlessly with Azure resources to enable consistent and predictable data and workflow orchestration across systems.
• Optimize application performance by profiling code tuning queries and refactoring critical paths so that response times and resource utilization align with user expectations and platform standards.
• Implement unit tests integration tests and automated regression tests using industry tools so that code quality remains consistently high and defects are identified early in the development cycle.
• Collaborate with product partners architects and quality analysts to refine requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans for hybrid cloud applications.
• Configure and consume Azure services such as app services functions storage accounts and service bus to support resilient cloud native architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Apply secure coding practices input validation and authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect applications and data while complying with enterprise security guidelines and regulations.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning and reviews to ensure transparency of progress and alignment with delivery commitments in a hybrid work environment.
• Review peer code and provide constructive feedback that improves readability performance and adherence to established engineering standards and patterns across the team.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues by analyzing logs telemetry and metrics so that root causes are identified quickly and corrective actions are implemented with minimal user disruption.
• Document technical designs configuration details and deployment steps so that solutions are easy to understand support and extend by other engineering partners and future team members.
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in C sharp Azure and dot net development so that overall team capability and delivery quality steadily improve over time.
• Partner with operations and platform teams to design and maintain deployment pipelines and monitoring dashboards that support stable day shift operations without the need for travel.

Qualifications

• Provide evidence of eight to nine years of professional experience in backend and full stack development using C sharp and the dot net framework within enterprise scale projects.
• Demonstrate hands on experience building and deploying applications on Azure including use of app services serverless functions or container based workloads.
• Show strong understanding of object oriented design principles design patterns and software engineering practices that lead to modular and maintainable solutions.
• Exhibit proficiency in building RESTful services integrating with databases and working with JSON and related data formats in distributed application environments.
• Display practical experience with unit testing frameworks and continuous integration practices that help maintain code quality across iterative releases.
• Highlight familiarity with monitoring and logging tools that support observability and proactive issue detection in production Azure hosted applications.
• Indicate exposure to agile methodologies and hybrid work models with clear examples of collaboration with distributed product and engineering teams.
