Responsibilities
Drive comprehensive validation test execution for complex ISG product features in life sciences research and development ensuring every release meets stringent quality standards and documented acceptance criteria.Oversee creation and maintenance of detailed test plans and test cases that fully cover functional nonfunctional and integration scenarios using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.Provide accurate and timely test metrics and reporting to product and engineering teams transforming raw quality data into meaningful insights that support decision making and release readiness.Manage end to end test and defect management activities by logging prioritizing tracking and verifying defects in alignment with agreed workflows thereby reducing escape defects and rework.Execute LS R and D verification and validation cycles by applying relevant regulations guidelines and internal quality procedures helping the organization maintain compliance and audit readiness.Collaborate with product managers engineers and quality teams in a hybrid work model to clarify requirements refine acceptance criteria and proactively identify potential quality risks before implementation.Coordinate validation regression and confirmation testing during product increments ensuring that critical functionalities remain stable while enabling rapid innovation for research and development users.Analyze defect trends and test coverage gaps using test metrics dashboards then recommend targeted improvements that directly enhance reliability user trust and long term product performance.Optimize usage of testing tools and frameworks by evaluating new capabilities configuring workflows and mentoring peers on best practices that improve execution speed and reporting accuracy.Support continuous improvement of ISG validation processes by documenting lessons learned standardizing robust test designs and contributing to reusable verification assets across product lines.Partner with technical and domain experts to validate complex scientific workflows ensuring that the product accurately supports research protocols and produces dependable outcomes for end users.Ensure all test artifacts including plans cases reports and defect logs are maintained with clear traceability to requirements enabling transparent communication to stakeholders and audit bodies.Contribute to a culture of quality by actively participating in reviews huddles and retrospectives sharing findings that help the company deliver safer life sciences solutions with measurable impact on society.
Qualifications
Demonstrate six to ten years of hands on experience in structured software testing with strong focus on test metrics reporting and actionable quality insights for product teams.Apply advanced proficiency with modern testing tools and frameworks including test case management systems automation utilities and reporting platforms in daily validation activities.Exhibit deep skill in test and defect management practices covering prioritization lifecycle tracking and closure with a consistent emphasis on preventing defect leakage.Bring solid experience in validation test execution for regulated or high criticality environments ensuring that test runs are repeatable traceable and aligned with defined protocols.Possess specialized exposure to LS R and D verification and validation processes while understanding scientific workflows and documentation needs in research centric products.Leverage mandatory domain experience in research and development to interpret complex requirements and design tests that mirror real world laboratory and investigation scenarios.
