A Full Stack Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using Node.js and a modern front-end framework (e.g. React, Angular or Vue). This includes working with technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js back-end frameworks (NestJS, Express, Fastify or similar) and ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM or similar), as well as a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue or similar), HTML, and CSS.
The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development are essential for this role. Good knowledge of DDD, CQRS and Clean Architecture is mandatory. Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue or similar) is expected. They will also collaborate closely with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Designing and developing back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript with frameworks such as NestJS, Express or Fastify.
- Developing and maintaining front-end web components using a modern front-end framework (e.g. React, Angular or Vue), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
- Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
- Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
- Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills:
- Back-end: Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize or similar), RESTful APIs
- Architecture: DDD, CQRS, Clean Architecture
- Front-end: TypeScript, a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue or similar), HTML5/CSS3
- Data: SQL and NoSQL databases
- Cloud: experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Quality: unit and integration testing (e.g. Jest, Vitest, Supertest)
- AI-assisted development: hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work, with a critical understanding of their strengths, limitations and risks (e.g. code quality, security, IP)

- Additional Node.js ecosystem: Hapi, AdonisJS, GraphQL, Next.js / Nuxt (server-side rendering)
- Messaging and event-driven: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus or similar
