Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Tools Administrator to manage and support enterprise DevOps platforms, CI/CD tooling, source code management systems, artifact repositories, and deployment infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Artifactory, ProGet, ClearCase/ClearQuest, and deployment automation platforms. This role will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, optimizing developer productivity, maintaining governance standards, and supporting large-scale software delivery operations.
In this role, you will
Administer and configure Azure DevOps Boards and Portfolio Management across Product, Technology, and Business portfolios, including governance of work item structures, portfolio hierarchies, and marketplace extension approvals.
Manage Azure DevOps Pipelines infrastructure, troubleshoot YAML and Classic pipeline definitions, maintain service connections, and support teams throughout their transition to managed pipeline frameworks.
Administer JFrog Artifactory repositories, including repository creation, permissions management, service account administration, and troubleshooting package management issues across Maven, npm, NuGet, PyPI, and Docker ecosystems.
Support TeamCity CI/CD environments by configuring build templates, managing agent pools, maintaining VCS integrations, troubleshooting build failures, and resolving artifact generation and deployment issues.
Manage ProGet package repositories and connectors, including feed administration, API key management, service account configuration, and package distribution troubleshooting across multiple development platforms.
Provide administration and support for IBM ClearCase and ClearQuest environments, including UCM stream management, VOB administration, view configuration, and legacy source control governance.
Operate and maintain the KMXAS deployment ecosystem, including KmxasGUI, KmxasDeployer, deployment workflows, and integration processes supporting enterprise application releases.
Manage and troubleshoot CTDB database interactions and TeamCity JSON-generation jobs, ensuring deployment data accuracy and seamless integration with downstream deployment automation frameworks.
Diagnose and resolve complex platform, deployment, and infrastructure issues, including KmxasAgent, store-server components, build pipelines, artifact repositories, and source control integrations to minimize service disruptions.
Drive DevOps platform modernization and operational excellence by implementing best practices, improving tooling reliability, automating repetitive administrative tasks, strengthening security controls, and enhancing software delivery efficiency across engineering teams.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
8+ years of experience administering enterprise DevOps platforms and CI/CD tools.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Service Connections).
Expertise in JFrog Artifactory administration and package management.
Experience managing TeamCity build and deployment environments.
Working knowledge of ProGet repository management.
Experience supporting ClearCase/ClearQuest source control environments.
Familiarity with deployment automation tools and enterprise software release processes.
Strong troubleshooting skills across CI/CD, SCM, repository management, and deployment platforms.
Experience with service accounts, role-based access controls, and platform governance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional development and operations environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise software development environments.
Knowledge of Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and DevOps best practices.
Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of software configuration management and release engineering practices.
Experience supporting cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure environments.
