About the role
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the Salesforce platform across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions, improve user experience, and ensure the stability, integrity, and performance of Salesforce environments.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong Salesforce administration expertise, experience supporting Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
In this role, you will:
Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce environments, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Manage user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, groups, and security settings.
Perform sandbox refreshes, deployments, and environment management activities.
Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, report types, and analytics to support business operations.
Configure and troubleshoot Flows, Email Alerts, Email Templates, validation rules, record types, page layouts, and Lightning Record Pages.
Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, cleansing, and bulk updates using Data Loader and related tools.
Research, test, and implement new Salesforce releases, enhancements, and AppExchange applications.
Work within an Agile environment to gather requirements, groom user stories, participate in testing, and support deployments to production.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, support requests, and system-related incidents through case queues.
Support Salesforce Communities, portals, third-party integrations, and business applications such as Pardot and other marketing or operational tools.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Maintain documentation for Salesforce administration processes, configurations, and business workflows.

What you need to have to be considered
Salesforce Certified Administrator certification required.
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.
Strong experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
Experience managing user access, security models, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, and sharing rules.
Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Experience administration and configuration.
Experience creating and maintaining Flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts, and Lightning Record Pages.
Proficiency with Data Loader and bulk data management processes.
Experience building reports, dashboards, and custom report types.
Understanding of Salesforce deployment methodologies, including change sets and sandbox management.
Experience working within Agile development environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
These will help you stand out
Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
Experience supporting Salesforce Communities, Experience Cloud, or customer portals.
Knowledge of Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and other third-party Salesforce applications.
Experience implementing and managing AppExchange solutions.
Understanding of object relationships, including Master-Detail, Lookup, Junction Objects, and related lists.
Experience supporting multifactor authentication (MFA) and Salesforce security best practices.
Familiarity with deployment tools and release management processes.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environments with multiple business units and stakeholders.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $113,000-$128,000 depending on experience and other
qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and
subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
