About the role
As a Test Lead, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end quality engineering and validation for Digital Menu Board solutions across indoor and outdoor displays, kiosks, preview boards, and beverage menu boards. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with Product, Development, and Business teams to ensure display accuracy, content integrity, and release readiness.
In this role, you will:
• Lead end-to-end testing of Digital Menu Boards across indoor and outdoor displays, kiosks, preview boards, and beverage menu boards, validating content, layout, configuration, and display accuracy.
• Validate menu images, product lookup codes, pricing, calorie information, and promotional content across multiple display panels, device types, and menu configurations.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and cross-device testing for national and RIT menu assets.
• Design and execute test scenarios covering breakfast and balance-of-day menus, asset selection, content configuration, and requirements-checklist validation.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, and Business teams to identify and document defects, track issues through resolution, verify fixes, assess testing outcomes, and support release-readiness decisions.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring four days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Irvine, California. What you need to have to be considered
• Experience leading end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and cross-device testing for digital display, kiosk, menu-management, or comparable customer-facing technology solutions.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and requirements-traceability documentation.
• Strong understanding of content, layout, configuration, pricing, image, and promotional-asset validation across multiple devices or display configurations.
• Experience managing defects throughout the testing lifecycle, including documentation, prioritization, retesting, fix verification, and release-readiness reporting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Development, Business, and Quality Engineering stakeholders in a cross-functional delivery environment.
These will help you stand out
• Experience testing Digital Menu Boards, self-service kiosks, preview boards, or other digital signage solutions.
• Familiarity with menu images, product lookup codes, pricing, calorie information, and promotional-content validation.
• Experience testing national and market-specific menu assets across multiple locations, devices, or configurations.
• Ability to identify content and configuration inconsistencies that could affect the customer experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and test-leadership skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 – $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
