Job Summary
This role is for a Technology Architect with strong expertise in Apache Camel and Java within the high technology domain responsible for designing scalable integration and application architectures that support complex enterprise solutions in a hybrid work model focusing on secure reliable and performant systems that align with organizational strategy and improve customer and stakeholder outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable integration architectures using Apache Camel to enable secure and reliable communication between enterprise applications while maintaining high performance and resilience
- Develop robust Java based solutions that follow modular design principles to support reusable components and reduce maintenance efforts across high technology platforms
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex business requirements from the high technology domain into clear technical architectures that optimize cost performance and time to market
- Define integration patterns and best practices for Apache Camel based solutions that ensure consistent message routing transformation and error handling across critical business services
- Review and refine application and integration designs from engineering teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards coding quality and security controls suitable for high technology environments
- Guide teams in implementing hybrid deployment models that combine on premises and cloud services while maintaining performance security and compliance expectations for enterprise clients
- Optimize Java and Apache Camel solutions through profiling tuning and refactoring activities to improve throughput reduce latency and enhance overall platform stability for business critical workloads
- Coordinate with security and compliance partners to embed secure coding practices data protection mechanisms and audit readiness into all architecture decisions for high technology systems
- Document reference architectures solution blueprints and integration guidelines to enable standardization reduce onboarding time and support consistent delivery across distributed teams
- Support day time operations by providing architectural guidance during releases incident reviews and problem analysis to ensure minimum disruption to business services and rapid resolution of technical issues
- Engage with stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies relevant to Apache Camel Java and high technology solutions and provide pragmatic recommendations that align with organizational strategy and client needs
- Mentor team members in applying architectural patterns integration techniques and domain specific practices so that delivery quality improves and architectural debt is minimized over time
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing production metrics user feedback and architectural review outcomes to refine designs and enhance the overall value delivered to customers and society through reliable digital solutions
Qualifications
- Possess professional experience between eight and twelve years working in complex enterprise environments with significant focus on solution and technology architecture responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep hands on proficiency in Apache Camel including routing mediation transformation and integration with various protocols and data formats used in enterprise ecosystems
- Exhibit strong Java expertise covering object oriented design concurrency performance optimization testing strategies and familiarity with modern Java frameworks used in large scale solutions
- Bring substantial domain experience in the high technology sector with understanding of typical products services data flows and compliance considerations that influence architectural decisions
- Show practical experience designing hybrid architectures that span on premises infrastructure and cloud platforms while maintaining reliability observability and security guardrails
- Apply solid knowledge of integration patterns microservices concepts and event driven approaches to design solutions that can evolve and scale with changing business demands
- Display effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross functional stakeholders in a hybrid working model while ensuring clarity of technical direction and expectations
