The Role:
Cognizant is seeking a motivated and innovative Salesforce Tech Lead that will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring that they meet our clients' needs and align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience various Salesforce Clouds, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Salesforce solutions
· Configure and customize Salesforce features including Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, Validation Rules, and Custom Settings.
· Develop enterprise-grade Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components following best practices.
· Oversee DevOps processes including code management, metadata migration, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Harness.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including administrators and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
· Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and security practices.
· Manage and enhance Salesforce1 mobile customizations and third-party managed packages (e.g., nCino).
· Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and industry trends, especially within the financial services domain.
Qualifications:
Experience:
· Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in Salesforce development.
· At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, APIs, and multiple Salesforce products.
· Demonstrated success in leading large-scale Salesforce integration projects.
Technical Proficiency:
· Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
· Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout or Aura.
· Familiarity with mobile platform development and enhancements.
· Proficiency in DevSecOps tools like GitHub and Harness.
· Experience with Mulesoft API development and integration.

Salary and Other Compensation:
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $115,000 – 134,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
