Position: Project Manager – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights
Project
Implementation, Migration, Licensing and Support of the Alumni System based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power Pages.
Role Summary
The Project Manager Consultant will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of the Alumni System implementation. The consultant will serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, vendor teams, and technical resources to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
The Project Manager will oversee project planning, requirements management, solution delivery, system integration, data migration, testing, deployment, training, and transition to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead the overall implementation and rollout of the Alumni System.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, risk registers, and issue logs.
- Monitor project progress and provide weekly status reports.
- Manage project scope, deliverables, dependencies, and change requests.
- Facilitate project steering committee and working group meetings.
- Track project budget, resource utilization, and vendor performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between RP stakeholders, OSG, OIS, vendors, and technical teams.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement, requirements workshops, and project updates.
- Manage communication plans and escalation processes.
- Coordinate user acceptance and business sign-offs.
Solution Delivery Oversight
- Oversee deployment of:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights
- Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys (Marketing)
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Power Platform
- Power Pages
- Integration with Student System systems
- Ensure solution architecture aligns with business requirements and security standards.
Data Migration & Testing
- Manage migration of alumni records and related information.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, security testing, and production readiness activities.
- Ensure successful execution of migration rehearsals and go-live activities.
- Validate issue resolution prior to deployment.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure project compliance with RP policies, IM8 requirements, ICT governance processes, and security standards.
- Oversee documentation, audit requirements, and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Transition & Support
- Coordinate post-go-live support and warranty activities.
- Ensure successful handover to the application maintenance and support team.
- Manage service transition and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
- Agile and/or Scrum certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience in enterprise IT projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 projects.
- Proven experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights or CRM solutions.
- Experience managing system integration, data migration, and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience delivering projects in higher education, public sector, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
