Job Summary
The Field Services Audio Visual Technician provides onsite technical support for conference room technologies collaboration platforms audio visual systems end user devices and workplace technology infrastructure. The role includes installation configuration troubleshooting maintenance and operational support of audio visual equipment. The technician ensures reliable technology performance excellent customer service and minimal disruption to business operations.
Responsibilities
Support and maintain audio visual conferencing systems telepresence solutions meeting room panels and collaboration technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio video display microphone camera and connectivity issues.
Provide break fix support for conference room equipment and integrated audio visual systems.
Test video conferencing rooms before scheduled meetings executive presentations and business events.
Coordinate with vendors and third party service providers for technical escalations equipment repairs and replacements.
Provide technical support for live events executive presentations town halls and hybrid meetings.
Configure and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and other collaboration technologies.
Provide onsite deskside support for hardware and software incidents.
Troubleshoot laptops desktops monitors docking stations printers mobile devices and other peripherals.
Complete device deployments upgrades refreshes replacements and relocations.
Perform hardware installation testing configuration and post deployment validation.
Support employee onboarding through workstation setup device configuration and user readiness checks.
Provide onsite support for local infrastructure network equipment and workplace technology devices.
Assist users with software issues operating system problems Microsoft Office applications and peripheral configurations.
Maintain accurate records of incidents service requests equipment changes and completed activities.
Follow service procedures security requirements safety standards and agreed response timelines.
Skills and Experience
Experience supporting audio visual systems conference rooms and workplace technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms video conferencing systems cameras microphones displays and control panels.
Experience troubleshooting computers operating systems software applications and peripheral devices.
Strong problem solving communication customer service and coordination skills.
Ability to support business events and resolve technical issues with minimal disruption.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with users internal teams vendors and service providers.
